MUMBAI : Dalljiet Kaur's estranged husband Nikhil Patel had arrived in Mumbai. He was traveling with Safeena Nazar, his girlfriend, so he wasn't alone, though. On video, they were getting cozy at the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra, Mumbai. It was revealed that Kaur filed a formal complaint on the grounds of cruelty and criminal breach of trust once she learned about it.

Amidst all of this, Dalljiet posted a video of herself and Nikhil Patel's matching tattoos a few days earlier. She continued by saying that she was going to redesign the tattoo right now. Now, Patel has responded to her post.
Nikhil Patel posted on his Instagram stories and wrote, "Soooo much talk about "redesigning" today! I'm nearly done with mine!"
On Wednesday, Dalljiet had taken to her Instagram account to share a picture of her and her estranged husband's matching ‘Take 2’ tattoos. The actress wrote a long note saying, “Take 2. A tattoo that represented strength to fall in love again. Strength to trust again. Strength to leave the country and wrapping up everything for love and a hope to have the family that me and Jaydon craved so much for. After nine years I took the plunge as I got lost in the fantasy of having a family and all that I was being told to believe.”
Kaur added, “Take 2 was a chance I gave myself, to call someone my husband. For my son to feel what having a father would feel like. Now I know there was no such thing as faith and loyalty, love and respect, togetherness and commitment. It was all about numbers from the very beginning and loyalty was never on the table. Numbers must be high so the switch happened quickly ! Now I know, when I was being told “we will fix this” there was a replacement already being fixed too..”
Dalljiet concluded, “For all those who are insisting on redesigning my tattoo. Yes I am going to do it. Come up with good ideas, we can do something fun and creative so the healing finally begins. Would look forward to some fun ideas.”
Nikhil and Safeena were quite affectionate towards each other at the reception before getting into the lift together. We saw Nikhil running his hand in Safeena's hair, lovingly. A source had informed us, "While Patel has all the right to travel anywhere, he wants and with whomsoever he wants, this trip to Mumbai has definitely got one of the agendas as 'Hurt Dalljiet Kaur' written on it; he wants to rub salt into her wounds. He is telling her rather loud and clear that she can do nothing about him having ditched her and dropped her like a hot potato. Last year, Dalljiet was excitedly planning surprise party for her husband on this very date- and now this!"
Later, Dalljiet filed a formal complaint against Nikhil Patel under the BNS's Sections 85 and 316 (2) (Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita). Section 85 states that Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjects such a woman to cruelty shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years and shall also be liable to fine. Section 316 (2): Whoever cheats shall be punished under imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to 3 years, or with fine, or both.
Patel needs to reply to the FIR now. After being married to Nikhil Patel in March of last year, Dalljiet moved to Kenya with her kid Jaydon. However, after Patel disowned her, the well-known TV actress returned to Mumbai a few months ago with her son.
