DD National to roll out a new show produced by Feroz Abbas Khan from January, 2014

Feroz Abbas Khan
Feroz Abbas Khan, known for his film Gandhi My Father , is all set to produce a new show on DD National. Titled Mein Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon, the show will revolve around relevant global social issues. Some issues that will be showcased are dowry, rape engulfed armed conflict in Somalia, Pakistan and other countries. A source informs us that Peeyush Suhaney and Geetanjali Mishra have been finalized to play the protagonists. While Geetanjali will essay the role of Sneha, a girl who is supposed to have committed a number of crimes around the world, Peeyush will play an IBF officer who will further realize that she is trapped and is not a convict. When we contacted Peeyush, he said, “I generally do episodics and avoid daily soaps as I need my characters to be substantial. But I signed this show as it offered me the kind of graph I wanted.” So, amongst the shows on-air, which daily soap would he love to be a part of? “I would really like to be a part of Balika Vadhu on Colors. As for my new assignments, I will start shooting for Mein Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon from 28 October.” Averred Geetanjali, “Yes, I am in plans to play Sneha but cannot confirm or divulge more as I plan to sign the contract soon.” The show is slated to go on-air in the first week of January 2014. It will telecast in 14 countries at the 9 pm slot. Bravo, we wish Feroz and team all the luck.
