‘Aapse milne aa raha hain aur aap hi mein mil jayega’ - Making his way from India’s heartland into the hearts of millions, the ever-popular comedian, poet, actor, writer and producer, Zakir Khan, makes his television debut as a host with Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Aapka Apna Zakir.’
2.Delivering ‘Khushiyon Ki Guarantee’ and ‘Manoranjan ka Waada’
This light-hearted show will capture the essence of everyday experiences with a comedic twist, promising ‘Khushiyon Ki Guarantee’ and ‘Manoranjan ka Waada’. Each episode will feature Zakir's signature storytelling style across segments like celebrity interviews, audience interaction, and stand-up with his unique take on life's ups and downs, making even the mundane seem hilariously significant as he offers advice and empathy in equal measure.
3.Zakir’s ‘quirky’ gang of 4 – Gopal Datt, Shweta Tiwari, Rithvik Dhanjani & Paresh Ganatra
Joining Zakir on this journey will be a star-studded cast, each adding their flavour to the show. There’s Gopal Datt, Zakir’s old friend who lives with him and Zakir wants to get him married as soon as possible. Renowned television actor and diva, Shweta Tiwari plays Zakir's next-door neighbour. We also have Rithvik Dhanjani, Zakir’s cricket buddy, bringing his evergreen energy and dance moves to the show. And last but not least, Paresh Ganatra showcases his love for money and food, constantly keeping Zakir on his toes with his wacky investment schemes.
4.Iconic personalities that took the nation by storm
In a special segment, the show will also celebrate the accomplishments of the social media sensations. Week 1 sees Zakir interacting with Ankit Baiyanpuria, who has gained widespread recognition for his 75-day “Hard Challenge” on Instagram. The show will also welcome the enigmatic Indian matchmaker, Seema Taparia, from ‘Bombay’, and she will embark on a mission to find suitable partners for the show's eligible bachelors.
5.B-town gupshup with special guests
Adding an extra dose of glamour to the inaugural week will be renowned filmmaker Karan Johar and the fiery cast of the horror comedy, Stree 2 – Rajkummar Rao and Shradhha Kapoor, who will charm the viewers as they make everyone dance to the tune of ‘Aayi Nai’ and indulge in some engaging banter with the host, Zakir Khan.
