MUMBAI: There have been reports of pregnancy since Devoleena Bhattacharjee. The actress recently posted several photos of herself standing on a beach in a lovely white suit on her Instagram feed. “Embracing the journey, one step at a time. #AdventureAwaits,” she penned as a caption for her images.
Something else drew everyone's attention. Fans flocked to the comments section as soon as the photographs were posted to ask if Devoleena is expecting her first child with Shanawaz Shaikh, her husband.

The actress's "baby bump" appeared to be visible in the pictures, according to online users. One fan said, “Gopi bahu tum pregnant ho kya mujhe Kokila bhn ko khuskhabri deni h please btana jarur.” “Is she pregnant?????” inquired another. A third person referred to her as "mommy-to-be."
Devoleena Bhattacharjee tied the knot with beau Shanawaz Shaikh in December 2022. It was a court wedding in Lonavala with only close friends in attendance. However, she faced immense backlash after her wedding when trolls questioned her decision of inter-faith marriage.
Previously, in October 2023, Devoleena responded appropriately to trolls in an interview with the well-known news outlet, saying, “If I had married a wealthy man, I’d have been labeled a gold-digger, and if I married someone like SRK, they would have said usne kaisi ladki se shaadi kar lee.”
“I have understood that people speaking negatively about my marriage are often experiencing issues in their relationships. These individuals wouldn’t appreciate it if someone invaded their personal space, yet are happily doing it to others. Who I choose to be with is my decision, and trolls have no say in it. What matters to me is my partner’s support and loyalty, nothing else. Looks and money don’t define a happy marriage. Ironically, those who comment on my husband’s looks are often the ones against racism and advocating for feminism,” the actress added.
In the television industry, Devoleena Bhattacharjee is well-known for shows like Dil Diyaan Gallaan and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She also took part in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 14, which Rubina Dilaik ultimately won.
