Colors TV show Doree is one of them which was quite liked by the viewers.
The first season starred many well-known names like Amar Upadhyay, Sudha Chandra, Anurag Sharma and many more.
Several names of many well-known TV actors and actresses have surfaced on social media for the lead roles.
TellyChakkar has exclusively learnt that actor Ishaan Dhawan is roped in to play the lead role in Doree 2.
Ishaan is popularly known for his roles in shows like Dhruv Tara- Samay Sadi Se Pare, Gud Se Meetha Ishq, Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana. He was also seen in the web show titled Bebaakee.
Apart from Ishaan, Pandya Store fame Priyanshi Yadav will also be seen playing the female lead.
Other than that, actress Sreejita De is roped in to play a pivotal role.
She will be seen as an antagonist in the show.
Amar will be reprising his role in the drama series.
Doree's story is to promote awareness on the issue of girl child abandonment.
The show is created by popular TV producer Jay Mehta under his home productions.
