MUMBAI: Colors TV’s brand-new reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga is all set to grace television screens soon, and one of the most talked-about pairs on the show is none other than Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal. Rumours about their participation had been making the rounds for a while, and adding fuel to the buzz, the couple recently tied the knot in a private ceremony.

It was only after the intimate wedding that Hina and Rocky shared glimpses of their big day through pictures and videos, officially announcing their union. Their sudden decision to get married sparked curiosity, with many wondering if signing the show had influenced their choice. Addressing the speculation in an interview with Viral Bhayani, Hina gave an unapologetic and straightforward response, standing by her decision with confidence.

Speaking about the matter, Hina revealed that when she was first approached for the show, her initial reaction was one of surprise, as the title Pati Patni Aur Panga clearly suggested it was meant for married couples. At the time, she and Rocky were still dating. However, they decided to sign the show as a couple. The makers even asked them to get engaged on the show, which Khan declined. Coincidentally, their wedding took place shortly after, which turned out to be a delightful surprise for the makers, as it perfectly aligned with the show’s theme and concept.

Hina Khan said, "Humne shaadi announce ki iss saal, but hum last year karne wale they but because of my unfortunate diagnosis hum kar nahi paaye. Yeh jo shaadi wala angle aaya na that was pure coincidence and unse (makers) zyada khushi kise nahi hui because unke liye toh unka kaam hogaya. (The whole ‘wedding angle’ that came up was purely a coincidence, and honestly, no one was happier than the makers, because for them, it worked out perfectly for the show.)"

She added, "People will have theories but we don't care, but sachai yehi hai."
