Sunny Leone, who came to Bollywood with a bold image, is apparently trying to let go of that.
A popular daily has reported that when the actress, who debuts in fiction shows with the wildly popular Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, was asked to say the famous catchphrase ‘Sahi Pakde Hain’, she refused to do so.
The daily added that the reasons cited by the actress was the alleged double meaning attached to the phrase.
“Sunny said the line could connote a different meaning altogether and demanded for a change in script. The creative team was at its wit’s end trying to convince her that it did not have any other meaning and that Angoori Bhabhi (Shubhangi Atre) used it in the literal context: ‘You have caught it right,” a source told the site.
Sunny is said to be entering the show as an actress on the lookout for her next hero. She selects Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) for the big-budget flick. It will be interesting to see her on the show, eh?
But if you thought that Sunny won’t be mouthing our favourite dialogue, you’re obviously wrong.
The sourced further told the site, “The team sat Sunny and her husband Daniel Weber down, explaining that the line was popular and everybody was saying it. Finally, the actress was convinced and agreed to mouth the line.”
We are already exciting about her week-long stint in the drama…right, guys?
