MUMBAI: Renowned director Rajesh Ram Singh, who directed shows like Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Kesari Nandan, and Chandrashekhar, is all set to add another feather to his cap by turning producer.
Yes, Rajesh is producing a show under his banner named Cockcrow Productions. He will be co-producing the project along with Shaika Films’ Pradeep Kumar, who last produced Meri Durga on Star Plus.
The show will have a Punjabi background and will launch on Colors’ upcoming channel, which is tentatively called Colors Shine or Colors Jazbaat.
We have also learned that the makers have approached Sudeep Sahir, who was last seen in Zee TV’s Woh Apna Sa, and Uttaran fame Mrunal Jain.
Well, the project is at a very initial stage, and the actors are yet to give their final nod. The channel is most likely to launch sometime in July or August.
Mrunal and Sudeep remained unavailable, while we could not get through Rajesh for a comment.
