MUMBAI: Famously known as Ishita of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya has now experimented with her roles by going the digital way. She will soon be seen in AltBalaji and Zee5’s webseries, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala opposite Rajeev Khandelwal.
The series will narrate a tale of two aspiring chefs and how their love story falls apart. Will they come back together? That is something the viewers will have to wait to watch. Playing the character of Nitya, Divyanka, for the first time will be seen in a character which is aggressive and emotionally destructive unlike the intensely sane and matured Ishita.
In the conversation at the press conference of the show, Divyanka mentioned how she had to work hard on her character and also that she had to chop her tresses to absorb her role to perfecto. She also mentioned that she is looking forward to the audience response her character will derive and hopes that people like her in this new avatar.
