The festival is also a time for bonding, as families and friends come together, forgive past differences, and celebrate new beginnings with love, laughter, and shared festivities.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with actress Tanisha Mehta who is seen in Star Plus popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 spoke briefly about her Diwali plans and special ritual of the festival that's closest to her heart.
Tanisha Mehta who plays the character of Vrinda in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 said, "I absolutely adore the festival of Diwali as it brings people closer and symbolizes peace and light. My favorite ritual is placing diyas at the entrance of the house. It makes me feel that Diwali brightens the atmosphere and keeps darkness at bay, not just in our homes, but in our hearts as well."
Talking about her Diwali plans, Tanisha said, "Nothing grand. It will be a working Diwali. However, I took some time out for Diwali shopping and will also be a part of Laxmi puja, that's mandatory for every year."
