The actress has achieved success with Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Sanjay Dutt, and other actors, and is the daughter of an actor who holds the Guinness World Record. She continues to astound her fans with her physical appearance while working on television shows. Here we are talking about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Kaveri Poddar áka Anita Raj.

Anita Raj is the daughter of well-known actor Jagdish Raj, who holds a Guinness World Record for being the most type-cast actor. He played the role of a police inspector in 144 films. The actress made her grand Bollywood debut alongside Raj Babbar in Prem Geet and in her second film, the actress starred alongside Jeetendra and Rekha in Mehndi Rang Layegi.
After this, there was no looking back for the actress. She went on to star with many superstars like Jeetendra, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, and Dharmendra. In fact, the actress's pairing with Dharmendra was a hit and fans loved to see them together on screen. In 1984, Anita Raj worked in seven films, in 1985 she worked in 9 films and in 1986 and 1988, she worked in back-to-back 10 films. She enjoyed a huge fan following in the 80s.
However, the actress stopped acting in 1996, and she didn't return until 2007. She ruled Bollywood before taking over on television. The actress is now conquering hearts as Kaveri Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has acted in various popular and long-running television dramas, including Tumhari Pakhi, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Choti Sarrdaarni, and Parineetii.
She is related to Sridevi as well. Star Sridevi and the actress share the same birthday. They were even good friends and both worked in Bollywood at the same time. After appearing in more than 100 films, Anita Raj is currently becoming well-known on television. Even at sixty-one, she never fails to wow the audience with her level of fitness.
