Double celebrations as Garima Productions’ Chidiya Ghar and Lapataganj...complete 500 and 100 episodes respectively

SAB TV that is known as a channel catering only to comedy-centric shows, has a reason to rejoice. Two of their offerings namely Lapataganj Ek Baar Phir and Chidiya Ghar produced by Garima Productions are set to celebrate their success though in different aspects. While Chidiya Ghar will celebrate the completion of its 500th episode, the new season of Lapataganj has completed 100 episodes. To celebrate the occasion, the producers have decided to bring together the cast and crew of both the two shows under one roof on 29 November 2013 and have a cake cutting ceremony and distribution of trophies. When we spoke to Paresh Ganatra aka Ghotak of Chidiya Ghar, he expressed his happiness at his show completing 500 episodes and said, “I waited for almost one and a half years after Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. Though in-between, I was offered many roles but I wanted to take up a good character and a promising show. And when I was offered Chidiya Ghar, I loved the idea and concept of the show so much that it did not take me even two minutes to give my nod for this show.” Exclaimed Rohitashv Gaur, who essays the role of Mukundilal in Lapataganj…, “It feels really good to be a part of this show. None of my shows have lasted more than 8 to 9 months. I initially thought that it would not do so well, but it’s unbelievable that the show is still on air with a new season creating a fabulous response since the last four years!” We wish both the shows and their cast all the best for their future!!!
