Popular actor Khalid Siddiqui, currently seen in Life OK’s Dream Girl (Shashi Sumeet Productions), has been arrested by city police.

As per media reports, Khalid’s estranged wife accused him of molesting her.

Reportedly, Khalid and his wife, Raahat parted ways two years ago. Their children stay with Khalid. According to the complaint filed by Raahat, while her son was suffering from high fever, Khalid was busy spending time with his alleged girlfriend.

And when finally she called him to speak about the matter, Khalid made her wait for an hour. After their confrontation, Khalid allegedly abused and molested her. Moreover, Khlalid also tried to strangulate her, while security guards did not come at her rescue.

Late at night Raahat registered a case with the Khar police station, and the actor was arrested next day early morning. Later on Siddiqui was granted bail by Bandra court.

Siddiqui’s lawyer was also quoted saying to the media that it was a mere dispute between husband and wife and there was no serious charges in the matter.
