The good looking Kartik Soni, who was last seen on Ek Tha Raja Ek This Rani (Sphereorigins) is all set to make a comeback on television. 

And the young man is all kicked about bagging a very different project.

Kartik, who has earlier part of popular saas bahu sagas like Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, Balika Vadhu and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani has now bagged a key role in Star Plus’ upcoming show POW- Bandi Yuddh Ke (EMMAY Entertainment and directed by Nikhil Advani). 

The series stars Satyajit Sharma and Purab Kohli in the leads. They play two soldiers who return home after 17 years only to be doubted of their patriotism.

Sources share with us, “Kartik has been roped in to play a raw agent Atish on the show. He will be part of the team headed by Vikramjeet (Manish Chaudhary), that will investigate the two soldiers truth. Atish will be the one trying to find out if the two prisoners, who have been released after 17 years have formed a connection with Pakistan or not.”

Confirming the news with us, Kartik shared, “Its a great feeling for me to be a part of such a magnificent show. Everyone dreams of working in a film, and with this project being helmed by popular filmmaker Nikhil Advani, I am close to living that dream. This show has everything from drama to action and trust me it's going to be a game changer on Indian television.”
