Ekta Kapoor celebrated 24 years of her most iconic show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'

Ekta Kapoor had changed the whole scenario of television when she launched a series of serials from the year 2000 - 2005 and one of them was 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' which was a huge success and a cult show.

MUMBAI : Ekta Kapoor is one of the ace producers of the entertainment industry. Her company Balaji telefilms is one of the biggest production houses, and she is the only producer who produces content on web, movies and television and is successful in all three mediums.

The actress is quite active on social media and she keeps sharing posts and keeps her fans and well-wishers’ updates about her whereabouts and upcoming projects.'

The producers first successful show was Hum Panch following it with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kahiin to Hoga Kaahin Kissii Roz etc.

These days her serials like Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya and Bhagya Lakshmi are running for five - six years and are among the top twenty shows when it comes to the BARC ratings.

Now the ace producer shared the video of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi completing 24 years and she gets emotional as she has come a long way.

On July 3, 2000 Ekta Kapoor’s iconic show, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ aired on TV. Not only did it introduce Smriti Irani to the audience, but also achieved a cult status over time.

On the 24th anniversary she shared a throwback video that was recorded when ‘Kyunki’ completed a year.
