Ekta takes Additi to the cleaners

When Ekta Kapoor launches a new face she makes sure the face fits her brand. It is a given that her actresses have to look picture perfect. Additi Gupta who is the latest addition to Ekta’s list of newcomers has been put under the scanner. It has been heard that Ekta was not very happy with Additi’s smile and figure. So much so that she took her to a well-known dentist to beautify her smile. And Additi has also been placed under the strict guidance of a dietician in order that she knock off the extra kilos. Additi who is a foodie is now on a strict diet. When contacted Additi, the lead of the new show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, she confirmed the news. She says, “Yes, I have had two sittings so far. Actually my teeth are crowded and they overlap each other so I had to get that corrected. It is basically to acquire a beautiful smile.” Elaborating on her enhancement process Additi says, “I have been advised by the dietician against having rice, Mc. Donald’s burgers and aerated drinks. I start my day with juices and am permitted only two chapattis with each meal. My meal consists of two rotis, dal and sabzi. But I am not complaining as it is for my benefit.” She continues, “I was required to run in the fields for shooting the promo of the serial and this helped me knock off four kilos in 20 days.” Additi is also doing the rounds of Siddhivinayak temple with her mentor Ekta Kapoor every Tuesday. She informs, “I went with Ekta to Siddhivinayak Temple last Tuesday for the first time. I believe that we will be going tomorrow as well as it is a Tuesday. We want to have God’s blessings with us.”
