Erica Fernandes kept her Kasautii role a secret even from her family!

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has been in the headlines ever since Ekta Kapoor dropped the very first hint about it on Twitter. The cast was kept under wraps until very recently. We now know that Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan will play Prerna and Anurag, respectively.

But did you know that Erica had kept this news a secret from her family also? While talking to a leading portal, Erica said that she is very good at keeping secrets and that although she lives with her parents, she couldn’t even tell them about her role in Kasautii, as she was strictly told to keep it confidential until an official statement was made. She revealed it to her father a few weeks back, and he was very happy and proud of her.

Talking about Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, the makers are walking the extra mile to promote the show on a bigger scale. They even unveiled a 23-feet statue in 10 cities across the country. The production team has roped in many actors to promote the show on their social media handles.

While Erica and Parth are playing the main leads, fans are still waiting to know who would be playing the role of Komolika, although there are reports doing the rounds that Hina Khan will be essaying the iconic character.
