MUMBAI : Abhinav Shukla is a well-known television star who rose to fame with his stint in Bigg Boss Season 14, where he was considered one of the most dignified players of the game.
Post that, he was seen in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, where he did all the stunts and faced his fears.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actor where he revealed a nickname that he has given to Rubina, what his day consists of and much more.
A line or a word that you say a lot?
“Arey”
A habit of yours that Rubina wishes to get rid off?
Forgetfulness. She’ll ask me to go out and buy something and I’ll forget. I have to keep a note of anniversaries and birthdays. I have saved my father’s name with his name and his birthday. Same goes for my mother. I actually get confused with dates and numbers.
A fictional character that you feel would be boring to meet in real life?
I think Mr. Bean’s character.
What would you tell him?
“Hey Mr. Beans, can you spill some beans?”
A memory from Bigg Boss that you would always cherish?
The boat task where Nikki and I were the last ones. I was just hanging on one arm and she was trying to throw me down from the chair. I was counting in my head – maybe 10 more minutes, may be 10 more minutes.
If you were to be a spy, what would you spot in Rubina-Abhinav’s house?
It depends. I mean, if you come at the breakfast time then I would be sitting on the table, hungry and Rubina would in the kitchen saying “5 minutes”. Then, I would look at the watch and say that it’s been 5 minutes. She would say “5 more minutes”. She cooks amazing breakfast.
If you were put in a time machine, which film set you would want to visit?
So many of them. I want to be on every movie set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I want to be on the set of Titanic, Band Of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan, Satya and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye. These are my favourites.
A day in life of Abhinav Shukla would consist of what 3 things?
Jogging, a lot of coffee and probably I’ll be reading or writing something. Today, I was repairing my bed which is in a different room. Rubina was telling we should replace it but I told her that I’ll fix it. So I was doing that today with the drill machine and everything. So probably you’ll see me doing something like that.
A job that you feel you will drastically fail at?
Dancing. There was a time in during Bigg Boss where I was dancing with Rubina and I was lifting her. She was telling me to do it nicely and not slam her and I told her that I was doing it well because if I go for comfort, it would very slow.
If you could wake up as any other celebrity but you, who would that be and why?
I think Ranveer Singh. I’ll call Sanjay Leela Bhansali and tell him that I’m coming over. Give me a few films.
Something that the audience feels that is true but it’s really not?
People might think that I’m not really emotional or my friends could be thinking the same. Like, he’s dry or something. But that’s not the case. I’m just not over-dramatic. I keep it subtle.
If you could Rubina a weird nickname, what would that be?
I call her Khinda. In Himachal, Khinda is a delicacy which you eat with ghee. She calls me with different names like Pojewal, which is a place near my college. One day, I was telling her a story where this name came up and she as “What sort of a name is this?” I told her it’s just a name. So after that, if something happens she will say “You’re from Pojewal”.
