Tellychaklar recently got in touch with the actor and got to know interesting insights.

How similar or different is Aparna from the character of Shahna?

“Honestly, I feel this too and in fact, a lot of people on set say so that Shahna and I are very similar. Shahna is smart, intelligent but she also does some silly things sometimes. But Shahna is the first one to know what is going on in the house and she is the one who solves all the mysteries and takes a stand for everything. Similarly, in real life also, I know what is going on around me and my intuitions are quite strong. I also do some silly things sometimes like Shahna. That is why I love playing Shahna because I get to be myself more.”

What has your journey been like?

“I came to Mumbai and I joined an acting school. I started auditioning after that. My first show was with Zee TV and it was great. I have had a great journey so far and I love every bit of it.”

What kind of roles or projects do you look forward to? Would you be interested in exploring reality TV?

“I really wish to do the web after this. I want to do something that is women oriented. Yes, I would love to do reality TV but it depends on which one I am being offered. I love watching Bigg Boss. I feel I can do that show and pull it off really well. I feel I will enjoy it and it will be entertaining for the viewers too. I want to feel how one lives under a roof for 3 months with all those people. I think about how one deals with things under that level of pressure. Also, if given a chance, I would like to be a part of a dance-based reality show too like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa if possible.”
