TellyChakkar got in touch with Mehak where she talked about her show ending and much more.

What was your reaction when you first heard about the show going off-air?

Honestly, the day we heard this, we were all taken aback because it was so sudden. It was a very normal day of shoot, we were on the set when we heard this and thought that it must be a joke. However, even as a joke, it wasn’t funny. But then we heard everyone talking about the show going off-air. I’m very family-oriented in real life so of course the attachments to my character, getting to hear that I won’t get to play it anymore and that I will have to wrap up in a few days. I was sad but my heart broke when I realized that I won’t be able to meet my friends everyday because on-set it never felt like work. The four of us, Badal, Gagan and Harsh, we just felt like we were coming to chill. We’re going to talk, we’re going to do our scenes which is something we all four of us love to do. In our free time we’re just going to sit and have some fun. It was very difficult for all of us to digest the information that the show is going off-air. The day the show got wrapped up, after everyone left the set, the four of us stayed back. We went to each and every corner of the set and re-enacted our scenes, be it in the veranda, be it Manna’s entry in the house (the ‘knock knock who’s there’ scene), the kitchen, the first scene of Badal and Gagan, I mean everything. All of us are so connected to the set and to each other, the cast and the crew. I would like to say that you should stay invested in the story as everything is going to have a very perfect ending and not going to end up abruptly so you won’t be disappointed.

Who was your favourite person on set?

I feel very difficult to take just one name. Badal, Gagan and Harsh are like one person to me. If you give me such a trick question then I won’t be able to choose just one of them. These three boys are like my best friends now. These are the people I confide in. If I’m ever stuck in a problem then they are always the first ones I’ll call. These three are my go-to people.

Would you like to participate in Bigg Boss if you were offered? Why or Why not?

I would. I love drama. I have also named my dog ‘Drama’. It’s there even on her birth certificate – Drama Ghai. I feel like it’ll be very entertaining because I feel that I’m a very hyper active kid so I know I’ll be very active on the show. I won’t be someone who will purposely start an argument just to gain attention but I don’t stay quiet when someone wrongs me. When I have to give it back to someone I can. So yes I would like to go to the Bigg Boss house to enjoy the drama, honestly. I very religiously watch Bigg Boss.
