Ace Director Sidharth Sengupta and Jyoti Sagar, grandson of Ramanand Sagar go back a long way!! And now they take their association to the next level by turning partners in forming their own production house!!

Yes, you heard it right!! 

They together have formed the company Edgestorm Productions, and are presently working on various interesting concepts for television. 

As per a reliable source, “Edgestorm Productions have two shows in the pipeline; a dance based show for Channel V and a daily drama for & TV. They are also in talking terms with another leading channel for their third show.”

When contacted, Sidharth Sengupta confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, “Yes, work is in progress as far as Edgestorm Productions is concerned. Jyoti and I have had a great association, and we are now looking forward to a good stint as Producers. I have earlier produced shows when there were weekly concepts. However, dailies were not my cup of tea. It’s overwhelming to see the response we have got from channels after all the years of experience. We are looking for a good year ahead.”

Sidharth, as we know has set up shows like Balika Vadhu, 9 Malabar Hills, Aek Chabi Hai Padoss Main, Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayegi and many more. Jyoti, on the other hand has been the producer of Aasmaan Se Aage.
