The show has managed to strike a right chord with the viewers with its unique content.

Shubh Laabh hit the small screens last year and the show has become everyone's favourite.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Geetanjali who spoke about her journey in the show and much more.

What kind of response do you get on social media for playing Savita's character?

The character of Savita invokes love and respect from people of all ages. She is loveable because she is relatable to people. And, that’s why on social media too, Savita is spared from all the trolling, I guess. I’m getting a very positive response from my audience.

Just like you, your husband too is a renowned actor, how do both of you react to each other's work?

My husband and I are each other’s greatest supporters and honest critics. He is very proud of my work and keeps encouraging me to pursue my passion at my pace.

There have never been many gaps between each of your projects ever since you started acting. Was it a conscious decision to take up projects one after the other?

There have been fewer gaps but those too because of unavoidable circumstances. Like, when I was pregnant. I feel blessed that I have had the luxury to choose to work whenever I wanted to. I love my work and I guess, work loves me back too. I’m grateful for each opportunity, gone by and yet to come.

Well said, Geetanjali!
