MUMBAI: Twinkle Vashisht has been in the industry for quite a while.

Every actor has his own journey as to how he started dreaming of becoming an actor  and how his dreams have come true. Today, we speak to Kumkum Bhagya’s Kritika aka Twinkle about her journey. (Also Read: Kumkum Bhagya : Big Twist! Abhi warns Gaurav to stay away from Pragya)

Twinkle, in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com shared, “Acting happened to me around when I was in 11-12th standard. I was aiming to be more of a business woman or a pilot, I had interest in that area, I was a studious person, when I finished my MBA I worked with BMW in the past so one fine day I found that my dad was also an actor, I saw certificates and medals when mom was cleaning wardrobes so that’s when I got to know how am I so like acting all the time then I came to know it was from my dad, my grandfather was very into studies like get good percentage become a good businessman, my family is full of businessman and doctors and I am the only actor in the family, so I told my dad to give me a chance, give me like 2 months and during that time I auditioned every show I could get.

So it all started with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai , negative lead role, I was very strong cameo, it was liked by people and continued and I did all the top shows, you can name Udaan, Diya aur Baati Hum, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Hi, eventually I wanted to work with one production house which was Balaji Telefilms, because that is a dream of I think everyone who wants to be an actor.

I grew up watching Balaji shows, so I just got to know the auditions are staring for Kundali Bhagya and there is a continuing character so I went to audition from 8 in the morning till 10 in the night and I remember staying and auditioning every possible character they had and eventually I got called for Kritika and being with Balaji for 4 years and in Mumbai for 6 years for me. It’s purely struggle from day one for me.”
