MUMBAI: Star Bharat launched a new show titled Woh Toh Hai Albela, produced by Rajan Shahi. The show marks the reunion of Rajan Shahi and Shaheer Sheikh once again.
The actor-producer duo has previously worked in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. The diehard fans of Shaheer are excited to see him back on-screen once again.
Apart from Shaheer, the show also stars Kinshuk Vaidya, Anuj Sachdeva, Hiba Nawab, Pallavi Pradhan, Somesh Agarwal, and Rachi Sharma, among others in pivotal roles.
TellyChakkar got in touch with one of the actresses of the show, Pallavi, who will be seen as Shaheer, Anuj, and Kinshuk's mother.
Pallavi has worked in Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi series, so we asked what change she has witnessed in the industry until now. She shared, “The approach has changed to be more realistic now. Television shows are focusing on the minute details and I'm very happy to see these changes.”
You've been playing motherly roles; do you feel like playing different roles? “I haven't always played such roles. I had done the role of Surili, which was comical. Even in Jiji Maa, I had a negative character. Even in this current show I'm not just playing the role of a mother; there's much more to this character. I choose shows only after analysing my character strength in them.”
Pallavi spoke about the amount of effort that goes in to create an episode each day. She shared, “Viewers see only 23-minute episodes; however, the amount of hard work goes to create episodes is clap worthy. It is a serious business and a very difficult job. People work intelligently behind the camera.”
Woh To Hai Albela premiered from 14th March on Star Bharat at 9 PM.
