MUMBAI: Colors’ Barrister Babu has gained popularity with its attempt at highlighting societal norms, taboos, and superstitions. They also try to give an effective solution to these issues and educate their viewers on right and wrong.
Bhavya Sachdeva aka Chandrachur's entry indeed brought major twists in the show. His love at first sight for the young Bondita remained unchanged despite marrying Tupur. Chandrachur's crazy love turned two villages into a battleground, warfare to win over Bondita.
The dapper shares an intriguing anecdote about his transformation for early independence era look, "There were multiple look tests for my character. In fact, when I reached Gujarat for the outdoor shoot, I had to spend a couple of days doing look-tests before I started shooting. But I believe it was worth the effort, considering the positive response I am getting for my era-based look."
He added, "As far as the character is concerned, I did workshops with our director Mangesh Sir and Creative Director Neha ji both online and offline. Getting a grasp over this character took some time but now I am confident that I will do my best to justify the character of Chandrachur."
We asked him that one piece of advice Bhavya would give to Chandrachur if he ever met him, he replied, "Interestingly, nothing. There is not a single thing, I could say to a character like Chandrachur. I don’t find any common ground between myself and Chandrachur for me to even approach him and say hello. I’d rather keep my distance haha. Hands down, this is one of the most driven and powerful characters I have played till date. I only hope that I can continue to entertain the audience to the best of my abilities in every episode."
Well, we are in awe of Chandrachur and you?
