MUMBAI: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing extremely well. The audience loves to watch the chemistry of Sai and Virat and the fights between Virat, Sai, Pakhi, and Samrat.

We got in touch with the Birthday girl Bhavani Kaku aka Kishori Shahane to know her birthday plans, rituals and more. Check out how is she planning to celebrate it this year:
How are you planning to celebrate your birthday this year?
Well, last year my birthday was in Lockdown, yet we had a great party with the entire team of Ghum in Goa. This year it is a working birthday for me, last night I was shooting in Pune for my Marathi film, so my birthday began with working and today I directly came to the sets of Ghum for shooting, I love working birthdays and this is exactly what I wanted. At night, my family plans on going out for a good dinner. We wouldn't be having a grand party so yes, it will be fun. Ghum is my second family, cakes are being cut, I distributed ice creams, and there are 170 wishes right from sets coming for me. So are numerous wishes on social media. I am having an eventful day.
Do you have any specific rituals that you follow on your birthday?
Well, I believe in donations, and I would pray at my temple in the house. I don't go to any temple especially, If I am free then I would do that for sure. With donations, I do that online and even before reaching the sets of Ghum, I did follow that ritual-like always.
What is that childhood memory that you would love to relive again?
So, while I was in school we have that wish that on our birthdays we have all our classmates sing the birthday song and we distribute chocolates, but as my birthday comes in April so I could never celebrate it in school. So once I pestered my parents to have a duplicate birthday for that fun and attention. They managed to make it happen and I was so happy doing that. There was no such culture of celebrations, my mom used to make a cake and recently the branded cakes began to sell, I once demanded that I want a shop-bought cake to celebrate my birthday and I had called my friends and relatives. I have loved celebrating my birthday since childhood.
What are your co-stars planning?
Neil and Aishwarya, the entire actors' team have got a cake and there will surely be a celebration on sets by evening.
