TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor to talk about the show, her character, and more!

The show deals with a dark subject, does that ever take a toll on you?

I think there is space for all kinds of shows and yes, it deals with a dark subject, but we haven't gone that dark yet, and it's a very day-to-day thing that we are doing right now. And yes, Gaurav has an issue. He has an anger issue and there are a lot of things that are not clear to us as well, like as a family. We also don't know many things that have accumulated. But yes, slowly, slowly, once things are unveiled, how are we going to react? What is going to be my reaction as a mother? How will I deal with it? Time will tell. And yes, it is a dark subject and we need to show the audience everything because you know, we are somewhere depicting everything which is there in society and there are people like that, so yeah. We are just playing them in our recipes.

What can we expect from your character in the show moving forward?

Every character in our show is different from one another. You know, Manikanth is very different from Garv. Maina is different from Koel, Koel is different from Titli and you know vice versa. And we all are different from each other and we all have our layers. We are not out and out positive or negative. No, we're very real characters. We have our genuine real insecurities. Even Koel has her sensibilities and insecurities. You know, her sister is married to her husband and how much she's given into it. But you know, she understands that my sister keeps it cordial with me because somehow most of the property is in Koel’s name and these are very realistic facts. You know, all this happens. In various places, if not 2 Sisters are married to one man, but you know such situations happen in the family between Devrani and Jethani and all of that. So yeah, our characters are very realistic, real-based characters and it's fun to play them. And what you can expect from us is that unveiling and revealing more layers of a character.

OTT has been an exciting space, with a lot of new genres to experiment with. Would you like to explore that space more?

I would love to be a part of OTT and I have done two shows, and two series before; one for Salman Khan productions and Banijay production, and the other one was for Sony LIV yeah. I've done that, but because we are so occupied with television and don't get much time to kind of go out and find out and audition. And this is really too time-consuming. But yes, whenever there is a break, I would want to be part of films and OTT, and I mean why not?

Vivana is currently seen playing the role of Maina in the show Titli. She has also been a part of shows like Mahabharat, Police Factory, Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye and Kumkum Bhagya, Apni Time Bhi Ayega and more.
