EXCLUSIVE! 'I was in a dilemma to take up the character as one would get typecast' Shireen Mirza on agreeing for Star Bharat's Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai

MUMBAI: Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali's ace producer Sandiip Sikcand is all set to bring a new show for Star Bharat titled Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, the concept and storyline are extremely intriguing to see a single mother and a little one's story that crosses paths with a movie star.

We had exclusively updated about Shireen Mirza bagging the show, in an exclusive conversation with the beauteous, we asked her about her reason to agree for the show, her character and more. Her responses are indeed unmissable: 

What made you agree to the show? How do you feel Coming back after a break?

I think, initially, I took the break because of the covid situation and eventually I got married so it was a much-needed break. We were planning to move to Bombay and I got this show so I feel this was a plan of God. Talking about the show, I was offered in Ramzan while I was fasting, when I heard the script, it didn't take a lot of time. It is about a woman how who adopted a girl and ends up marrying a superstar. Somewhere I could connect it with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, so if I can connect, I am sure the viewers would too. 

Tell us something about your character? 

I am doing a negative role again and I take pride in saying it as with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein people loved me when I turned negative in the show. Initially, I was in a dilemma should I take up the role as one gets typecast but at the same time because this character is so strong in the show, it made me say yes to the character.

What would be the style quotient of your character? 

Tv always has a dramatic look when it is negative, her name is Kaamna here and I am quite inspired by Komolika and all so I am looking out for a signature look the character here is quite elite and classy but she has a dual personality. On one side she is all elite and on the other hand, she is completely opposite. 

Have you begun shooting? Tell us about your bond with the co-stars?

I haven't started shooting with everyone yet but I have met them at social gatherings and seen their work. They are all great actors and I am sure we would all do a great job with the show.
