MUMBAI: Actor Nyrra M Banerji, who became immensely popular for her role of Divya in Divya Drishti, is happy to be part of the TV industry as it helps actors become famous overnight.

She shared, “I feel TV is the best platform to get famous overnight. If the show clicks, it reaches a large section of the audience. Moreover, there is stability, even though we don't get enough time for ourselves.”

Which of your shows has been your favourite?

“I loved my previous show Divya Drishti, and I had taken up this role because it was very different from the usual. The set was also close to my house, and its production house is amazing.”

Do you think Divya Drishti would be back with another season?

“I'm not sure, but if it does, the cast will be different. I miss that show a lot and would love to be a part of it again.”

What's your relationship status?

“I'm seeing somebody, but it's too early to talk about it. I can't reveal much about it, because people speculate a lot. It's better that I keep my private life private.”

Nyrra has worked in several films and TV shows like Divya Drishti and Excuse Me Maadam and series like Skyfire, Operation Cobra, and Zaban Sambhal Ke.
