MUMBAI: Tellychakkar.com recently reported how actor Sameer Dharmadhikari is all set to be a part of interesting projects like Shabaash Mitu and Marathi feature film based on the great Shivaji Maharaj. Well, the actor is also a part of Ghar Ek Mandir Kripal Agrasen Maharaj Ki and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Sameer engaged in a good conversation with us.

Take a look:

How does it feel to be a part of the show?

He created a Samaj and the only thing he purposed was that Shastra se Rajya nahi chalte lekin vyapar se chalta hai, this was a great thought of Maharaj ji and doing business is not only looting it’s about more things, and finally he comes down so that was realistic.

You have done a lot of mythological show and then you come to fictional shows and now again you’ve been in mythology?

I think you should see the show and then decide whether it’s mythology or fiction. I started with a social show. When I heard it was really different from what I had done. Everyone thinks of me as a Maharaj, every set I go to nobody knows me by my name they say we have to meet Maharaj ji.

You are shooting in Jaipur so did you tour around in city?

Frankly speaking I have been shooting for a long time in Jaipur.

How do you deal with creative differences while shooting?

As I said that people made me a Raja but the person within is different, I am always looking for a different kind of role like I did Jhansi ki Rani there were Angrez that thought they were greater than him but he put them down, he was a great administrator and he lost his wife at the age of 18 then he got married to half the age of him and then I played in Gundha and he was madly in love with his son and he made his own parallel universe where everyone is happy and the third I did Ashoka he was a bridge and I feel lucky to do such characters. If you know a character then no matter how you mould it is there and creatively they are supportive.

Did you do any special preparation for this role?

We are actually sorted and when it comes to scenes we do what’s best.

Q: How much time does it take for a character to get ready?

Firstly it took one and a half hour and then we got used to it so it can take 15 minutes.

What was your first salary and how did you earn it?

When I was in school , I used make lantern and sell it and total it was 120rs and that time roller skates were for 180rs so my dad added another 60rs and got the roller skates.
