Do you feel after doing Kaamnaa you have managed to break your previous character Ishani's image from Ishq Mein Marjawan 2?

Yes, I completely believe that I have managed to break the image of Ishani's character from Ishq Mein Marjawan 2. Ishani's character was quite different and here Akanksha is also very different. And I have enjoyed playing both.

People say it's quite tough to survive in showbiz. How has your experience been so far?

There have been many rejections before I made it. But that's how it is. You have to keep working hard and when the time comes, you will get what you deserve. There is a lot of competition. So you don't have to compete with anyone else because there is someone out there who is more talented than you are, who is a better dancer, better actor, and better looking. So, you just have to be your better version every day, every year, with every project. My experience has been really good. It took time but finally, I'm doing what I love. There will be ups and downs but learning and growing with every experience is what counts in the end.

You have a great career in modeling and now acting. How much do you miss modeling?

Modeling has its own charm. There are butterflies in your stomach when you walk on the ramp where you know there is no chance of another take. All eyes and lights are on you. It makes you feel like a diva.

Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for all the latest updates.
