MUMBAI: Aanchal Goswami is the lead actress of Rishton Ka Manjha on Zee TV. In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, she opened up about her experience shooting for the show.

How has it been to debut as the main lead?

It has been good to be debut lead and life is so different and I have that shows as parallel lead but now I realise lead is lead, of course people are focusing on you and you are the centre of attraction and it all starts with only you and it feels nice and people focus on you and I am enjoying it.

What was your feeling when you were finalized for this role?

I was not expecting this , because many girls auditioned for this role and I didn’t know that I would be finalised for this role and I got a call and I was emotional and happy because I got main lead for the first time and I was very excited and happy.

How did you prepare for the role?

I didn’t do any special preparation for the role but when I heard the story line there were many elements which were similar between Diya and Anchal , such as seeing positive in every thing and never giving up attitude and talking about badminton, Diya is a little professional and I learned to play professionally from here and I am still learning and I think as the show will proceed they both will become one and get along with each other and I prepare every day to keep the character strong

If there is one thing you would like to change about your character in the show, what would it be?

I will not change anything , everything goes perfectly with the character whether it is funny or emotional or with any character and I am happy with this character and I am enjoying and learning everyday so that I can justify Diya’s character to the audience.

Tell us something about your struggle period before you bagged Rishton Ka Manjha.

That struggle was different before Rishton Ka Manjha and I wanted to do something big and I would say even after getting this there is struggle and before I used to struggle for shows and now I am struggling how can I perform my character and the struggle will always be there and if you get things easily there will be no fun and I want to struggle and enjoy.

What was your life like before becoming an actress?

Life was different and better and there was no pressure and normal people cannot even imagine the pressure of actors because everyone keeps expectations from you and we have to look good in every scene and on camera and we have to take care of ourselves and we have to perform well and when sometimes if we give low performance then we have a pressure that we could have done better and to prove ourselves in front of everyone is the biggest pressure and an actor doesn’t have the time to live a normal life because they are in front of camera for 14 hours and be in character and have proper diet and beauty and have good food and I can’t take the pressure because then I can’t work and yes life was easy before acting but I am happy because I chose this life.
