MUMBAI: Pavitra Rishta was the turning point in Sushant Singh Rajput’s career before he entered the big screen and attained more success and fame.

As the actor breathed his last in 2020, memories of the hit show were refreshed in the minds of his fans. That seems to have prompted the makers to come up with the sequel of the show and the SSR’s sister Shweta too gave a green signal to it. Makers of Pavitra Rishta announced the sequel with the lead actress, Ankita Lokhande, and popular TV star Shaheer Sheikh. We also reported that Annie Grover is all set to join the cast of Pavitra Rishta 2.0, but details about her character are yet to be disclosed.

We had earlier reported about Anant Joshi, Ayushi Gupta, and Tasneem Khan being a part of the series.

We now have news that Manisha Chitrode has been roped in to play a significant role in the show. Manisha has earlier been a part of Star Plus’ Kahan Hum Kahan Tum and Mere Sai on Sony TV.
