There is a lot to explore in OTT these days. What kind of roles do you want to portray on the digital platforms?

OTT platforms have a lot to offer these days. The range of characters that you get to portray is really great. It is really vast. I am open to any kind of character which is both substantial and important to the story and I would really want to take up any character which is challenging. And I am actually waiting for that. I really want to make a foray into the OTT world. I have done a couple of shows on OTT. But it's been more than a year since I have done one.

What do you think about the TV content from a decade or two ago and in today's times?

Television has undergone a lot of change and not that earlier shows were not contemporary. But in today's times, it's all the more. We are addressing issues that are today's concerns, issues with day-to-day concerns of people and society. We do actually start with very strong content and a story. But sometimes, the research that is done, the feedback, sometimes the story tends to change and we deviate from what we start from. There have been phases on television. Good content has always been there. How it has been executed has been different.

How did you bag your first ever project? Any fond memory you would like to share?

My first show was in Delhi and I was very nervous. I had no idea about it. I used to do theatre but facing the camera is a very different thing. It was a very small part that I did but it was fun. My first day at the shoot was night exterior and it was a part scene. I was sitting outside the whole night. But today when I think about it, I feel that I should have gone inside and sat as it was wintertime. And Delhi is known for the dew at night and I got a cold and cough the next day. Luckily, there was no shoot the next day. I was very naive. But I will always remember this.
