Exclusive! Nitesh Tiwari reveals the reason he named the KBC campaign “Sammaan,” shares Amitabh Bachchan’s reaction to it

MUMBAI: Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most loved and successful reality shows on television.

The show is been running for more than two decades and is always in the top five shows when it comes to TRP ratings.

Nitesh is one of the most successful and talented directors and writers that we have in Bollywood. He has made many successful movies like Dangal, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Chhichhore.

The director has been associated with the popular reality show KBC since it aired on television. He has been conceptualizing the campaign ads for KBC.

Recently, at a press conference, the director unveiled the first campaign promo and revealed the reason behind naming the film Sammaan.

The ace director said that it’s been titled “Sammaan” as Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is such a respected personality in our nation, and the way he greets and respects the contestants on the show is something one must learn from, hence the name “Sammaan,’’ which means respect.

He also shared that Mr. Bachchan loved the script and was happy with the story. The actor complimented the entire team for their good and hard work.

At the end, he said that Big B always encourages the team to and motivates them to do better, and that’s why the product comes out so well.

Well, no doubt that Amitabh Bachchan is a legend, and his association with KBC goes back a long way.
