MUMBAI: The famous actress and singer Debattama Saha return in Krishna Mohini recently to fight back with the health issue incl. laryngitis diagnosis during shoots. She shared her experience, challenging phase details, music significance, throat Chakra issues, scene shooting impact, and singing passion difficulties.
Krishna Mohini actress Debattama Saha, recently shared about her health struggle on social media platform after battling with a severe throat infection. Besides acting, Saha is passionate about singing and has contributed her voice to several albums. During the outdoor shoots, she fell ill and had several throat checkups that affected her singing abilities.
Initially diagnosed with laryngitis, Saha faced the risk of losing her voice during her recovery process. Fortunately, the actress is now on the path to recovery and is feeling significantly better. During an exclusive interaction, she shared all about the challenges she had faced in that phase and how she prayed to God, asking why this had to happen to her. Speaking about the traumatic phase, Dabattama said, ‘This year is very important for music I am telling you guys. When we started shooting for the show the climate during the outdoor shoots was very hot sometimes and sometimes very cold. The air was not good, it was dusty and the weather was not good at all. I consulted ENT doctors and finally I learnt that I was suffering from Laryngitis. It is a kind of disease in which you can lose your voice also. Being a singer it was a very big setback for me. I could not afford to let it happen.’She further shared how like everyone she prayed to God that he can't let this happen to her, ‘I was continuously praying that God you can't do this to me.Slowly I'm recovering from this and I'm sure it will get better. I have recorded something and I'm pretty much excited that it will be out soon. I'm just happy and waiting for it to be released. I just want to stay positive right now and in fact, I later on realised it was not laryngitis. But there were other problems. Touchwood I want everything to happen smoothly. I'm just trying to recover at present.’
Talking about her struggle, Debattama mentioned , ‘It was a very difficult phase as my throat Chakra was completely gone. I could not speak for long as my throat would start hurting. I love talking to people and here I was advised not to speak as I was experiencing pain in my throat. I should not talk at all, how is that even possible? I had to shoot my scenes and it was taking a toll on my voice. Singing is my passion so it was very difficult but slowly things are getting better.’
