MUMBAI: Pallavi Rao has played a range of characters in her career.

Currently seen in Star Plus’ Pandya Store in the role of Prafulla, she got candid about her experience shooting for the show.

Pallavi shared, “From the very first day the experience was out of the world. When the character was narrated to me, I could see myself in the character described to me. I did not have a problem with the Gujarati accent as even though I am not a Gujarati, I hail from Ahmedabad. We started shooting in Bikaner in January and it was so cold there but none of us ever complained about anything.

The best thing about the character is that it has so many shades to Prafulla. She is mean and greedy but is also naïve and I look forward to playing Prafulla as there is always something or the other she is upto each time. I did Kulfi Kumarr Bajewala and after that Pandya Store and this show has added up more value to my career. I do not know why and how but this show energizes me!”

Speaking about her co-actors, Pallavi shared, “Well Krutika Desai is a wonderful person. She is one of the finest co-actors that I have and she also guides me and gives suggestions on how we can make the sequence and performance better. The chemistry is great on and off-screen. With regards to Kinshuk Mahajan, Shiny Doshi and the others, I must say that the younger lot brings in a lot of energy on the sets and the new actors on the set show keenness to learn. Nobody has an air about themselves!”
