MUMBAI: After a gap of 6 years, Star Bharat's popular comedy series May I Come In Madam? is back on the small screens to entertain the viewers.

The show has hit the small screens from 26th September onwards and the ardent viewers are quite excited about its second innings.

Fans have been a big admirer of Saajan and Sanjana's on-screen camaraderie and they are loving to see them back on-screen.

The characters played by Sandeep Anand and Nehha Pendse became popular in no time. Several memes and fan pages are dedicated to this on-screen jodi.

TellyChakkar got an opportunity to interact with Sandeep who spoke about the show.

Speaking about reuniting with the star cast after a gap of 6 years, Sandeep said, ''Yes, there has been a gap of 6 years with the show. But I have been active in the industry since 1999. I have done many projects and worked with many actors. They are all very fantastic actors. If your co-actor is not good at his work, even you won't be able to perform well. The reason Sajan's character is a huge hit is because of writers, directors and also all the talented co-stars. I get a chance to learn more and do my work even better.''

Lastly, speaking about the newness in their characters, Sandeep said, ''New characters have been introduced in this show this time. They are adding a new flavour of humor and making the things more contemporary. The chemistry between the three lead actors is very relatable.''

He added, ''I would like to say one thing that the viewers should watch this show and take its concept purely for entertainment purposes. We are only trying to cheer up and make people relax amid the hectic lifestyle.''

Revealing if he was nervous when the show was about to hit the small screens, Sandeep said, ''Yes, I was definitely nervous. I consider every show of mine as my child. Whenever I take up the show, there is nervousness as everything is about how viewers will react. Whatever hardwork we are doing, if that is not being liked by the viewers, our efforts will go in vain.''
