MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an exclusive update from the world of television!

We have learnt that Star Plus’ popular show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar under their banner Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment, will soon witness new entries.

According to our sources, Shivani Mahajan, who is known for her stint in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Sheel Verma, who was last seen in Sasural Simar Ka 2, have been roped in for the show.

We hear that Shivani and Sheel will play mother and son respectively in the show.

We could not get through to the actors for a comment.

Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey stars Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi in the lead roles. The show is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali language show Khorkuto.

The pairing of Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi is quite fresh, and the storyline brings back the memories of the '90s. The family is fun-loving and likes music and cricket. Anubhav is a scientist who belongs to a middle-class joint family, and Gungun is a selectively empathic girl and a rich, pampered brat. They are the central characters of the show.

Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment currently produce popular shows like Choti Sarrdarni on Colors, Kaamna on Sony TV, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Star Plus.
