You are doing a Punjabi debut. Tell us something about it.

The viewers will see me in a very different avatar for the first time. My look is also quite different. It is quite refreshing. The most challenging thing is learning a new language. I have to speak in Punjabi and my training for the same is in process. My role has a lot of different shades and I do have the pressure of pulling them off well.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see you in Bollywood again. When will that happen?

It's been almost a year I took a break from TV. For now, I don't want to go back to the TV for a while. I did my first movie as a child artist. I was barely 15 at that time. The second movie was shot 4 years ago and it was released after 4 years on Netflix. Doing a film in the Punjabi industry is a step to getting back into the films. And I really want to. If a great opportunity comes my way then I would love to do it.

Would you like to be a part of Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi?

Hats off to the celebrities who participate in Bigg Boss! One has to be extremely strong both physically and mentally. It requires a lot of courage. The environment is extremely stressful as you are constantly in front of the camera and away for several weeks from your family and friends. Bigg Boss is not my cup of tea I feel. I really enjoy Khatron Ke Khiladi. I love all those stunts being performed. I don't fear height or even water. But I have a huge phobia of insects and snakes. That's the only reason I don't want to do Khatron Ke Khiladi. If the makers ever make a season where there are no insects and all to perform with, I will definitely do it.

Srishti has previously done shows like Main Mayke Chali Jaungi, Laal Ishq, Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, Meri Durga, among others.

The actress was last seen in Zee TV's show Hamari Wali Good News opposite Raghav Tiwari.

Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for all the latest updates.
