MUMBAI: Indian television shows have been a part of the audience's daily lives for a long time now. Over time, the type and platform of content changed a lot but people still wish to go back to television dramas and call it their comfort zone. A lot of new shows are in the pipeline which will soon go on floors. Some shows are all set for a launch in the upcoming days. Some are already on air and entertaining the viewers.

One of the shows is Dabangi on Sony TV which will feature Mahi Bhadra, Aamir Dalvi, Manav Gohil, Sai Deodhar and others in titular roles. (Also Read: Dabangi: Mahi Bhadra promises to charm her way into the audience’s hearts with her performance in Sony TV’s upcoming show!)

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, he spilled beans on his experience shooting for the show.

Sai shared, “Television has brought me where I am today. It is a medium which takes you to every household. Talking about my character, so far I have played very strong motherly characters but here I portray a mother who is soft. She is protective of her child but cannot put her opinions forth in a straight forward fashion. It is easy to play a personality who is calls spade a spade but when there is a character who wants to speak her heart out but cannot out of society pressure, I feel there is a very interesting layer to it.

My character has to sometimes switch from playing a mother to making decisions like a father being a single parent. The transition of taking firm decisions and being soft hearted is something that I absolutely love playing.”

Talking about working with Mahi Bhadra, Sai averred, “Well, there is a certain positivity and energy while working with children. Whenever there is a child artist on the set, there is always a positive aura. Even at 11:00 pm if Mahi is asked if she is tired, the energy with which she responds saying no gives me a different level of energy.” (Also Read: Sony TV’s Dabangii gives us vibes of South movies already, is it a blockbuster in the making?)

When asked Sai about her comeback with Dabangi, she mentioned, “I never really went anywhere. I was writing, producing and doing a lot of other things.”
