The light-hearted comedy-drama series has managed to garner rave reviews from the fans for its interesting storyline.
We all know that Wagle Ki Duniya has seen so many new entries.
We had recently reported about actor Amit Varma all set to enter the show.
The actor will be seen as Harshad’s cousin brother from the US. His character's name is Nick. He is a polished, well-educated Marwadi settled in the US.
Well, Amit's character will definitely spice up the drama.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Amit who spoke about his entry into the show and much more.
What kind of character are you playing this time?
I’m playing Nick who is Harshads brother from the US. He is a nice guy but has a lot of ego and is a little chauvinistic in his approach towards women
You have previously worked with Hats Off Productions for many shows. How do you feel collaborating with them once again for a show like Wagle Ki Duniya?
Honestly, I don’t call it working when it Hats Off because my entire criteria and professionalism take a back seat as Aatish and JD are like a family to me. We started our journey on TV together with Khichdi, me as an actor, and they as producers and director. And they gave me my first break which I will never forget. So, working with them is basically coming home for me.
How has been your experience shooting with the show's star cast?
It’s a pleasure to work with the cast. I have worked with Sumeet and Pariva in Badi Door Se Aaye Hai and Hotel Kingston respectively so I knew them and it’s a pleasure to work with them they are such good actors. I think Sumeet had one of the best comic timing I’ve seen so it’s great fun to watch him perform. Pariva is so real as an actor so it’s great to work with them. I haven’t shot much with the rest of the cast but whatever I did, they are all very talented and have amazing timing.
