This feels like a long vacation after so many years, and I cannot be happier: Shivangi Joshi

MUMBAI: TV actress Shivangi Joshi made her television debut in 2013 with Zee TV's Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi. Then, she went on to play Aayat Haider in Beintehaa and Poonam Thakur in Begusarai. Since 2016, Joshi has been portraying Naira Singhania in Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opposite Mohsin Khan.

A week ago, a nation-wide lockdown was announced in India. As a result, everyone has been requested to stay at home and not venture out unless absolutely necessary.

Amidst this situation, the actress told a media portal, 'I feel really overwhelmed after spending time with my family especially my 3-year old nephew. I never got a chance to spend quality time with my family so this indeed feels like a blessing. This feels like a long vacation after so many years and I cannot be happier.'

On her fitness routine, she said, 'I make sure I have 4 liters of water every day. I consume fruit juices, have a lot of fruits and vegetables as well. I also do Zumba with my sister and Bhabhi to keep myself fit. I try to run and climb stairs as well.'

On missing her co-stars and being on sets Shivangi said, 'I really miss being in Bombay and being on shoots. I am having a gala time with my family but I cannot wait to go back when everything normalizes.'
