Few of my fans think that the scars and marks on my face are real: Rohit Khurana

A page from the personal diary of Rohit Khurana Hi folks! I am Rohit Khurana who you all have seen in Uttaran and are now seeing me as scary and ugly-looking Madhav and Ehsaas in Dil Ki Nazaar Se Khoobsurat on Sony Entertainment Television. Well, by now you’ll have watched me playing various shades, but the real me is very different from what I portray and that's what we call acting, right? Since I am here, want to throw some light about myself. To start with, I would like to say that initially I was a model and then started getting acting assignments. From the beginning I knew that my life would not be happy and worthwhile without getting into acting or media; in fact, I was certain that some or the other, I had to be in the media profession. People are giving mixed reviews about my look in the show Dil Ki Nazar Se; with some feeling that the marks and scars are real and not make up while some are of the view that in reality I am ugly and the way I looked earlier was a job of a makeup exercise. So, different people have different opinions about me but I love the role I am playing and the reason why I took up this character is because I knew that it had so many variations to show me as Madhav as well as Ehsaas. Talking about my personal life, I am a very private person and I am married. I like to talk about my work rather than my personal life. Well, my wife also watches the show and knows the real me. And to top it all, she has no qualms of what I do on screen, she knows that it’s acting at the end of the day. The same goes with my fans; they know that I am good looking and acting is of another kind. Talking about how much I relate to Ehsaas, all I can say is that he is low on self esteem while I am not. Ehsaas is like one of us and like every other person, has a past. Unfortunately, he has been looked upon as ugly. Furthermore, I love travelling when am not shooting. I watch movies and enjoy myself. As far as my chemistry on the sets is concerned, it’s all cool and fun. Since most of us on the sets are Punjabis, we have a blast. I usually don't plan so I can’t really say what holds for me in the future. So friends that’s all for now. Here I wish to thank all of you for watching Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat. I love you all.
