FilmFarm Productions, promoted and established by Pintoo Guha and Rupali Guha are venturing into regional space again after their debut work on Star Pravah (Mandala Don Ghadicha Dav) with their newly launched show (premiered on 7 January 2013) on ETV Marathi titled ‘Asava Sunder Swapnancha Bungala’.
The show talks about a little girl Ishvari (Mrunmayee) who comes from a poor background. The story explores her world and most importantly, her dreams. We see Ishvari’s mother Sujata (played by Mitali Jagtap) fulfilling her little girl’s dreams. The show has Shailesh Datar essaying the lead of the main lead. Sanyogita Bhave, Shweta Mehendale, Sakshi Tisgaonkar make up the illustrious line-up of the show.
In addition to this, FilmFarm has finished shoot of their maiden Marathi feature film tentatively titled ‘Narbachi Wadi’. The movie is based on the Bengali play Sajjano Bagan by Manoj Mitra. The track has been adapted to Marathi by Guru Thakur, and the film has been directed by Aaditya Sarpotdar with cinematography by Rahul Jadhav. The shoot for the movie took place in Sawantwadi’s Kaziwadi on the Konkan coast and is scheduled to release in May 2013. The film has a star line-up of actors like Dilip Prabhavlkar, Manoj Joshi, Kishori Shahane, Vikas Kadam, Jyoti Malshe, Nikhil Ratnaparkhi, Kamlakar Satpute.
FilmFarm Productions, makers of successful TV shows Rakhi, Tumhari Disha to name a few, presently have Uttaran going strongly on Colors..
