Fire on the sets of Pratigya

The unit of Pratigya was canning some important scenes when a fire suddenly broke out on the sets halting the shooting for two hours. As we reported earlier Pratigya (Pooja Gor) is all set to expose Aman (Piyush Sachdev) in front of her sister Arushi(Avantika Hundal), who he is all set to marry. A source says, “We are shooting on our regular location at Powai. Since it is a wedding sequence and we needed a huge space we have created a huge pandal in the parking lot. We have used different kinds of decorative lights. Yesterday, when we were shooting for the marriage scenes, fire started spreading from one corner of the set. Everyone rushed to see what went wrong but thankfully the situation was soon brought under control. Actually, we had some generator vans on the location and there was a short circuit in one of the vans. Our unit could not shoot for about two hours and there was no major loss of property.” Piyush confirmed the news and said, “Yes, there was a fire on the sets, we panicked at first. Our shoot halted for two hours. Eventually everything was back to normal and only some furniture and the pandal cloth was burnt.”
