Flashback! This is what happened when Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut reunited post their ‘Koffee With Karan’ controversy

MUMBAI: Both Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar have carved a niche for themselves in the B-town.

While their work has garnered them appreciations, they have also made headlines for their controversy. For the uninitiated, during her appearance on Koffee With Karan, Kangana called KJo the 'flagbearer of nepotism'. Post the controversy, Karan and Kangana reunited for the first time on a reality show on which KJo was one of the judges. The actress appeared as a guest and created an awkward situation.

Commenting on a joke which presenters Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani recited on the show, Kangana said that she didn't approve it, and Karan Johar including Rohit Shetty watched in silence. Kangana asked the two of them, 'Yeh itne gande sher hain, itne gande aur itne wahiyat. Aur aap kya keh rahe the aap off-camera bolenge?' 'Hum off-camera maarte hain na,' Karan Wahi said, and Kangana reacted saying, 'Off-camera kyu maarenge, jab show khatam ho jayega toh. Yeh kya propagate kar rahe hai aap, eve-teasing?' Karan recoiled and said, 'Nahi, nahi, aapke saath, marna hai mujhe.. Maine kaha yahan gande wale sher maarte hain, off-camera agar koi mile toh ache sher maarte hain,' Kangana responded, 'This is wrong, yeh aapne nahi kaha.' In another video, Rithik can be heard saying, 'We haven't asked Kangana about her love life.' She responded, 'I would not have approved this stupid joke, but anyway. This is the last act, right?' She then laughed out loud, revealing that she was just having fun with the two of them.
