Friends......no more!

Another relation in tellywood bites the dust! We are talking about the Vishal Vatwani and Kanika Maheshwari from Viraasat (Star Plus), who are no longer on talking terms with each other. Besides the fact they shared a very good on screen chemistry, these budding actors were good pals even in real life since the past four years. But as the saying goes 'an overdose of anything good can be bad', now their friendly equation has turned sour. As per our source, on the sets of Viraasat, they were discussing something trivial, which later developed into a major heated argument. The lady in question made a bitter remark on his personal life that left Vishal fuming, and he retaliated by blasting Kanika in front of everyone. This is Kanika's version of the incident: "I considered him to be my good friend, so I took the liberty to fool around with him, since we have known each other for so many years. On that day I was pulling his leg, assuming he too will see the funnier side of it. Instead, he started lecturing me as how to behave and to give him respect as he is few years elder to me. Later, his volume increased in front of the entire unit and stated that I shouldn't cross my limits. I felt terribly insulted and just walked out! But now I have decided to share only a professional relation with him," declares the hurt Ms. Maheshwari. Now let's give Vishal a ear. "Yes, we did fight. I am a person who fiercely guards his privacy. I believe that professional friendship and personal friends should be clearly demarcated and I do not allow anyone to cross that boundary. It's true that my relation with Kanika dates back to a few years, but that doesn't mean that she can pass comments on my personal life. I cannot tolerate when somebody tries to intrude into my personal domain, so I made it sound clear to her," Mr. Vatwani strikes back.
