Gangadhar Rao takes leave of Jhansi Ki Rani, dies tonight

Jhansi Ki Rani is in for a major twist as Gangadhar Rao (Sameer Dharmadhikari) will breathe his last tonight, thus marking an end of his character in the show. A source reveals, “We have already shot the death sequence with Sameer. In the episode last night, we have already shown Ali Bahadur attacking Jhansi in the process of which Gangadhar gets injured. He loses a lot of blood and his army shifts him to a different place but eventually he dies. However Sameer will be shooting with us for some more days now. He will be shown in flashback scenes and some scenes with Kratika (Manu).” Sameer confirmed this news, saying, “It was fantastic shooting for the death sequence. I enjoyed my death scene however it was really sad to see tears in the eyes of my co-actors.”
