Originally meant to be his show, Gaurav Chopra couldn’t up take the male protagonist’s role in Solhah Singaarr due to other commitments. This role was later made famous by Sachin Tyagi. However, Gaurav couldn’t be denied his space. The actor now enters the show albeit in a different role. While Gaurav was unavailable for comment, a source from the sets informs, “Yes, Gaurav is now part of Solhah SIngaarr. He essays the role of Shiv Chopra. There are grey shades to his character. In the current track, Shagun (Akansha Rawat) is thrown out by her in-laws. Shiv happens to befriend Shagun and vows to help her fight against her in- laws. However, he has a personal score to settle with the Chaturvedis (Shagun’s in- laws). At the same time, he has a soft corner for her.” As they say, better late than never. Here’s wishing Gaurav success in his extremely belated entry in Solhah Singaarr.
